MacMedics, a leading Apple Mac IT services provider and Apple Reseller, recently completed a $430,000 Apple hardware refresh for a prominent local defense contractor, upgrading their fleet of mission-critical Mac devices.
MacMedics Consulting and MacMedics Retail are both Apple Authorized Resellers and Apple Authorized Government Resellers. In 2022, we began working with a defense contractor on the Apple Authorized Service side. This relationship led the contractor to bring their Macs to MacMedics for service, which in turn allowed us to turn them into an Apple Authorized Reseller customer worth over $700,000.
As a small, disabled-owned business, we are able to meet several of the contractor’s requirements. They were interested in keeping business within Maryland rather than outsourcing elsewhere. This partnership enabled us to assist with a massive $430,000 Apple refresh, involving over a pallet and a half of MacBook Pros. We shipped these devices directly from Apple, pre-configured under their Business Manager, so the customer could simply roll them out to end-users with the Mobile Device Management (MDM) already set up.
We appreciate the contractor’s efforts to support local business by shopping with MacMedics. We are also helping them repurpose the old devices being replaced by the new MacBook Pros.
